Little River Challenge

October 3rd, 2009

Part 1 of the Four States Shootout

The Little River Challenge is back and more furious than ever.  This year’s race will be a USCF sanctioned event (license approval pending) and will feature a 12-mile loop on a rural course outside Ashdown, Arkansas.  Ashdown is a small town just 16 miles north of Texarkana, Texas and provides an excellent location for a high-quality race on good roads with very little traffic. Over $2,000 in cash and primes are up for grabs this year and your team can be a part of it.

In addition to this year’s Little River Challenge, we have partnered with the American Heritage Classic, hosted in Texarkana, to form the Four States Shootout.  The American Heritage Classic is a USCF and TXBRA-sanctioned criterium that will give your team a chance to compete in two different events in one weekend.  When you combine the purses of these two events there will be more than $4,000 available during this two-day cycling event.  Get ready for the Four States Shootout and head over to Texarkana on the weekend of October 3rd and 4th for two of the most exciting races of the season!
